Francesca Artioli
Assistant Professor
Francesca Artioli is an assistant professor (maître de conférences) of urban planning and policies at the Université Paris-Est Créteil (Ecole d’Urbanisme de Paris) and member of the Lab’Urba. She holds a PhD in political science from Sciences Po Paris (December 2014). Her research lies at the intersection between comparative policy analysis and urban studies. She is interested in urban policies and in central-local governments’ relations in a context of public sector reforms and austerity. She has studied urban projects, public real estate management reforms and redevelopment in France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Recently, she has started a project on digital platforms and cities, with a focus on the regulation of short-term accommodation rentals (Airbnb) in European cities.
